Senior class has final memory at senior celebration

As the school year came to an end, seniors left with one more memory together as a class, after commencement on Wednesday, June 5th.

The senior class traveled to East Hills Recreational Center in Grand Rapids, where they took part in many activities. Students could play basketball, tennis, volleyball, golf, and swim. They could also get hypnotized, go in human foosball and hamster balls, get tattoos and take pictures in a photo booth.

“I loved the hypnotist. Our whole class was involved, and it was hilarious,” senior Brooklyn Sabin said.

Senior Katie DeBruin also loved the hypnotist.

“It was funny to see how it worked on people and watch what some of their reactions were,” DeBruin said.

For most of the seniors, their favorite part was the hypnotist, but for senior Olivia DePung, her favorite part was just being with her friends.

“My favorite memory was spending time with my friends, just sitting around laughing and making memories,” DePung said.

The seniors arrived there at 10:30 p.m. and got home 6 a.m. Cost for seniors who paid early was $90 while it was $100 for those who didn’t.

For all the seniors, different moments were memorable.

“It was a great time for the senior class to be together for once last time and just have fun with each other,” senior Kelly McMahon said. – Alex Rakowski, staff writer
